Velvetians "Plastic Glam" debut album out March 2010

Velvetians make a chaotic glam racket charged with electric energy raised on Bowie, MC5 ,The Stones and Roxy Music.
Altough being based in Perugia (in the right middle of Italy), they've notched up an impressive list of international gigs sharing stages with !!!, Shitdisco, The Teenagers, The Bishops, The Violets, and many others.
Their buzzy club shows list includes Metro CLub, Barfly Camden, Buffalo Bar-Goonite, St.Moritz Club, Ban*Jam, getting attention even from Mr Eddie Argos of Art Brut and Glam Chops.

DJ JEFF AUTOMATIC from CLUB NME - who played at Urban Club (IT) for the kickstart of the Plastic Glam tour - defined Velvetians as: "a fresh nu indie-version of early Manics”.

Plastic Glam is Velvetians debut album, it was recorded in Italy and Mastered in London by Jon Astley at “Close to the Edge Studios” in Dec 09.

The album is now available on iTunes, Amazon, Cdbaby, VirginStore,
and will be available on cd from March 2010, when the band will head up to Ok for a string of dates:
