UKMusicreview... LIVE!

UKMusicreview has been online since 2004 which is when it took over from our then music review site, UKMusicsearch, which itself had been online since 1999.
Since 1999 we have been through a few different website changes and have written over 2000 reviews, interviewed more than 250 artists and bands and had fun at countless festivals!

We are still trying to load up our older reviews from 1999 to present but as you can imagine this isn't that easy and we would love someone who is as passionate as us to help us out.. please get in touch :)
We hope you like the site, we want to bring you breaking artists and bands, we want the music we write about to become your passion too as it is ours.... but most of all we want you to enjoy the site, enjoy the music and come back for more!

Whilst we really appreciate ALL the music sent in to us for review we simply cannot review all the music, this is due to time limits, we can only work so much and it is more than 40 hours a week normally!
Please don't think we are ignoring you or your artists if you are a PR company, we try and at least review and if not a review then a news item on our news pages.

If the musical output of 2000 onwards has shown us anything, it’s that a mix of male and female vocals work really, really well. The Dead Weather, The XX, The Kills; regardless of genre, all of these bands have shown us t
